The Masked Critic's Lair

Fright Night

Fright Night was what the world has been waiting for (A vampire movie where there is no sparkling or overly crappy love triangles involved). Yeah you know what I am talking about.

Now yes this movie is technically a horror movie but it also contains a lot of elements of a thriller with a healthy dose of comedy. The movie is rated R & does contain parts that will make you jump or cringe but I would let anyone at least 14-15 see it. All of you vampire movie lovers will also appreciate that this movie sticks to all the vampire lore including- Stake to the heart or beheading kills, sun light will burn or kill, and vampires cannot step foot in someone’s home unless invited.

& for all of you Doctor Who fan’s who haven’t seen this movie yet David Tennant (10th Doctor) was great & although his character is very different from what we usually see he was still awesome. He definitely proved that he can play other parts just as well.

This movie has definitely earned itself a sequel & I know people who see this movie will agree. This movie was just EPIC & I was not at all disappointed, in fact I want to go see it again. I have no choice but to give this movie 10 out of 10.

THE MASKED CRITIC HAS SPOKEN!!!!
